Amsterdam, Sep 29, 2003 - Philips BeDJ nights roll out across Europe following the action packed launch weekend in Ibiza. The events take some of the biggest names in dance music to each country to promote the Philips 530, the handset that allows users to create a total music experience!
The Philips 530 phone with its unique BeDJ function is endorsed by DJs Carl Cox, Sander Kleinenberg, Chris Liebing, Mauro Picotto and Cut Killer who have all worked with Philips to create tracks for the phone which allows consumers to re-mix their own music tracks, turning this easy-to-use phone into a portable mixing desk. Tunes can be stored as ringtones or alarms, and can be sent to other users via MMS.
All artists will be playing a BeDJ night, with a one-off appearance from DJ Tiësto at the event in Holland. Supported also by local talent and with more dates to be announced the Philips BeDJ nights are going to right up to the end of the year, bringing the best in dance music to clubbers across Spain, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Poland and Holland.
